    Manali Datar (she/her) is an Indian-born multi-disciplinary artist. She lives and works on Wurundjeri and Gadigal land and acknowledges that sovereignty was never ceded. Prior to graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2018, Manali originated the coveted role of ‘Rose Granger-Weasley’ in Michael Cassel Group's Australian production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. In 2021, she was Directorial Assistant to Dean Bryant on Merrily We Roll Along at Hayes Theatre Company and recently directed the first workshop of Threadbare, a new queer Australian play. In 2022, Manali made her Sydney Theatre Company debut in Anchuli Felicia King's White Pearl as ‘Priya Singh’, followed by FANGIRLS at the Sydney Opera House in the role of ‘Edna’ and went on to originate the role of ‘Emilia 1’ in the Australian premiere production of Emilia. 2023 saw Manali in the CBS Studios television comedy Gold Diggers as ‘Mona’. Also a musician, Manali released her solo project, temple, in 2023. Also in 2023, she performed alongside Anthony Lapaglia in Arthur Miller’s Death of A Salesman directed by Neil Armfield and performed in the devised work, Orlando. She is also part of the duo ultrafine, who created the disco-pop influenced single, SIGNS. As of 2024, Manali is working on her screenwriting and directing projects and recently released her second single, retail therapy.

    Shanu Sobti (she/her) is an Australian/American actor of Indian descent from Meanjin/Brisbane. In 2023, she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) from the Victorian College of the Arts. As a South Asian artist, Shanu is committed to championing increased representation of marginalised groups on Australian stages and screens.

    Actor

    Sebastian Li is a Melbourne-based actor, originally from the Gold Coast, Queensland. A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, Sebastian has appeared in a variety of productions in both stage and screen throughout his career. He has appeared in SBS mini-series "New Gold Mountain," as well as numerous productions with Melbourne Shakespeare Company.
