Blake Hohenhaus (he/him)

Blake Hohenhaus is a playwright, dramaturg, producer, theatre-maker and actor. He is the co-founder of Brisbane-based theatre collective Lunch Friend, whose debut work “34 Scenes About the Weather” won the 2023 Anywhere Festival Award for Best Theatre Production and is slated for publication by Playlab in late 2024/early 2025. Blake has written and developed work through Dead Puppet Society’s DPS Academy, ATYP’s National Studio, Playlab’s Incubator, ATYP’s Fresh Ink, La Boite’s Assembly and won Queensland Theatre’s Young Playwright’s Award (with Zoë Hulme-Peake) in 2017. Blake’s writing has been published by Currency Press, Voiceworks, and Farrago Magazine. As an actor, Blake has performed in schools across QLD and NSW with Shake & Stir Theatre Co. and Mind Blank. He holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Acting & Theatre Studies) from USQ and is currently studying his Master of Theatre (Dramaturgy) at the Victorian College of Arts.

Eugene Beissel (he/they)

Eugene Beissel is a sound artist, designer and musician living on unceded Wurundjeri country. They are a student of Bachelor of Music (Honours) in Interactive Composition at VCA, exploring the use of found sounds in personalised archival processes, visual coding software PureData in textural sound collages, and strength in multi-disciplinary collaboration.

Johnathon "Johno" White

Johnathon, or “Johno” is a Melbourne based performer, filmmaker, theatre-creator, drag-queen and teacher, with over 15 years of experience in all fields. Trained in Musical Theatre from a very early age, Johno has dedicated himself to exploring the vast and vibrant world of the Performing Arts. He has worked on over 50 Theatrical Productions (in roles such as Performer, Producer, Writer, Director, Choreographer, Set Design, Stage Manager, Lighting Design and much more) across many companies, school and community groups in Melbourne and interstate. In his video and film work, Johno works across, events (such as weddings, parties and corporate), live performance, sporting, personal branding, commercial work, advertising and more. Day to day, Johno has worked for Action Drama Studio, a Performing Arts Training Program in Melbourne’s North-east, as a teacher, coordinator and most rectently, Managing Director. Johno’s journey has allowed him to grow as a multifaceted artist who continues to be driven by a fierce curiosity and love for the magic that happens when creativity knows no bounds. He is thrilled to be working with Sundries and looks forward to many more projects with them.

Sam Eade (he/him)
Actor
Sam Eade is a transgender male actor based in NAARM/Melbourne and a Victorian College of the Arts Graduate (2023). His VCA credits include Romeo and various roles in Palace of Illusions (dir. Sonya Suares), Rob in New Labour (dir. Alice Qin), Theo in Roulette (dir. Tony Nikolakopoulas), Hugh in All Boys (dir. Max Tassell) and Miles in She Kills Monsters (dir. Joe Paradise Lui). Since graduating, Sam has performed at the Motley Bauhaus in Perpetual Stew (dir. Milly Walker & Charles Lawrence) and La Mama in Straight White Male (dir. Nick Parsons).

Luna Vásquez (she/her)
Actor
Luna Vásquez is a Chilean-Australian actor based in Naarm/Melbourne. She is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting). She has gained on-screen experience from working on several short films, music videos and TV commercials. In 2023, she starred in the St Kilda Film Festival and FLICKERFEST nominated short film 'They Will Know' (dir. Alex MacTavish). After growing up and living in both Chile and Australia, Luna is specially interested and passionate about sharing stories that authentically depict and incorporate Latin-american culture.

Callum Mackay (he/him)

Originally from Sydney/Eora Country, Callum Mackay is an award-winning emerging playwright and actor based in Melbourne/Naarm. Since graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2018 (Bachelor of Fine Arts - Acting), Callum has written four plays: ‘the last train to madeline’ (Fever103 Theatre), ‘Brittany & The Mannequins’ (Fever103 Theatre), ‘The Book of Daniel’ (Sundries Studio), and ’Waterfowl’ which will be performed later next year. ‘Waterfowl’ won the 2023 Queer Play Writing award, was long listed for Red Stitch Actor’s INK Program, a top ten finalist of the Lysicrates Prize and selected to be a part of kxt bAKEHOUSE’s Storytellers 2022 season. Callum was also commissioned by ATYP to write a monologue titled ‘Atlas Shrugged for RoomWorks in 2020 and was a part of ATYP’s 2023 National Studio where he wrote the monologue ‘Pest’ which was selected to be published. As an actor, Callum has performed as Antipholus of Ephesus in ‘The Comedy of Errors’ (Melbourne Shakespeare Company), Berowne in ‘Love’s Labour’s Lost’ (Melbourne Shakespeare Company), Telegin in Uncle Vanya (Anthropocene Play Company) Davo in ‘Blackrock’ (Ebbflow Theatre Co.), Steve in ‘BLITZ’ at Melbourne Fringe, Tommy in ‘Where’s My Money? (7th Floor Theatre), Michal in ‘The Pillowman’ (The Dark Room Theatre Company) and Citizen & Private Carr in Ulysses in Plaguetime (Bloomsday Melbourne). Callum has also acted in the web series ‘The Undergarment Odysseys’ and ‘The Waiting Game’. Callum is also the co-founder of Sundries Studio and founded Fever103’s Play Readings, currently serving as their literary manager. Callum is also proud member of MEAA and Equity.

Olivia Morison is an actor and photographer based in Melbourne. After graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts, Olivia has worked in independent theatre and has appeared in various screen projects, whilst building her own photography business (Liv Morison Photography). Photo series include; Extension (2021), Soft (2020-2022), Bubblegum Alley-January (2024).
